It stated it chose to invest “as there are future business growth opportunities for both us and the economy”.

“We feel that it is a most opportune time to make this investment,” Asco Motors acting CEO Ronald Kumar said. This new site will provide more capacity for our business and our customers, provide a more efficient workflow for our business, and be designed with the customer,” Ascor Motors outgoing CEO Craig Sims said in the release.

Despite the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses around the world, company acting CEO Ronald Kumar said they were excited about the journey ahead, and looked forward to the new investment to be constructed at the Voivoi Industrial Subdivision in Legalega.

He says it will also allow the company to be ready when economic times return to more normal levels.
