Woman dies after ambulance she was conveyed in was involved in an accident

A 46-year old woman is dead following a motor vehicle accident along the Kings Road, Nailaga, Ba yesterday.

According to Police the victim was being conveyed in an ambulance to the Lautoka Hospital when it is alleged the 40-year-old driver overtook two vehicles and bumped a vehicle driven by a 62-year-old man causing their vehicles to veer off the road.

Police say the victim was rushed to the Ba Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Investigations continue.
