For more than two decades the All in One Builders (NZ) Nadi and Flow Valves/Island Accommodation Suva football teams have been trying to win the Battle of the Giants tournament but were unsuccessful missions.

Suva’s last victory was in 1995 when they defeated Navua 2-1 at the ANZ Stadium while Nadi won the BOG in 1996 when they defeated Tavua 3-1 in Ba.

For the Capital City side they’ve reached the final three times in 2006, 2011 and 2018 while the Jetsetters have been runners-up five times.

However only time will tell if one of these two teams will march into the final on Sunday.

It starts with the semi-finals tomorrow where Ba faces Rewa at 2pm before Suva meets Nadi at 4pm at Lautoka’s Churchill Park on Saturday.

Labasa were the defending BOG champion.
