FIJI Airways Flying Fijians halfback Henry Seniloli is confident of putting up a good performance for his country as they prepare for the Rugby World Cup next which will be held in Japan next month.

The 30-year-old said his main motivation was his family and his yearn to represent Fiji in the World Cup.

“I am quite happy that I am chosen again to represent my country in the Flying Fijians team and to be part of something great, my motivation has always been my family and the people of Fiji and my vanua and that is who I fight for every day,” said Seniloli.

After sustaining a minor injury earlier this week, the Bau native said competition between the other two halfbacks in the pack, Nikola Matawalu and Frank Lomani, has been a main learning curve for him.

“Competition is great and its fun at the same time, we are very competitive but it is a healthy competition within the team which is good and I am glad that we are always pushing each other forward,” he said.

Seniloli believes the World Cup squad will be doing great things as they continue on their campaign.

“One of our team saying is having faith and we have faith in each other as brothers and obviously as a team, we know the task ahead of us and everything will just come naturally.

“I am hundred per cent with fitness just apart from this injury which I hope will be recovered soon and I am looking forward to what we have coming and what is in store for us at the World Cup,” said Seniloli.

Seniloli first represented Fiji in the Flying Fijians squad in 2013 and will be off to his second Rugby World Cup outing.
