Resort announces Osborne’s appointment

The Hilton group has recently named a highly capable and engaging leader in Carey Osborne as the new cluster general manager of Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Fiji, Sonaisali Island.

Area vice president and head of Australasia at Hilton Asia Pacific Paul Hutton commented that Ms Osborne has enjoyed a very successful career with Hilton across the Asia Pacific region in the past 16 years and has proven to be a very proficient leader across a number of our Hilton brands and cultures.

“We are privileged to have someone of Carey’s calibre and industry experience leading the team,” Mr Hutton said.

“She joins the team in Fiji from her current role as general manager at Doubletree by Hilton Melaka where she has lead since 2019.

“Carey has been instrumental in guiding the hotel through the global pandemic, achieving extraordinary recognition for being one of the top 5 recovering hotel in Asia Pacific.”

Mr Hutton said the depth of Ms Osborne’s experience across Australasia and South East Asia coupled with her knowledge of the Fijian culture and market would no doubt set her up perfectly as she takes on this new challenge.

This new role will see Ms Osborne lead the team in all aspects of hotel operations, from marketing and hotel administration to guest services and satisfaction.

This recent appointment adds to a number of successful key roles the experienced manager has held across the South East Asia region.
