THE Navy Rugby Club received an extra boost in morale on the receiving of an estimated $10,000 worth of sporting merchandise from their sponsors Fresh’et International Limited yesterday at the Stanley Brown Naval Base in Walu Bay.

Commander of the Republic of Fiji Navy, Captain Humphery Tawake in receiving the uniforms applauded Fresh’et saying it had come at an optimum time for the club ahead of its final rounds in the Suva Rugby Union’s Escott Shield competition.

“It is a relationship that has spanned over two decades,” Tawake said.

“And to receive the uniforms today only goes to show that the relationship between the two institutions is just as strong as when it began,”

Navy received four full kits of jerseys shorts, socks and training vests both home and away issues.
