Free WiFi hotspot launched in Ba

BA residents can now have access to free WiFi internet after launch of the Ba free WiFi zone today.
The free WiFi hotspot which is expected to provide high level of internet speed was an initiative that was announced in the 2018-2019 National Budget with a $40 million allocation for increased speed in public WiFi hot spots in Fiji.
Walesi board directors Izek Lal and Robert Khan officiated at the launch of the WiFi hotspot that would allow residents of Ba to access the internet for up to an hour for a day, everyday.
Speaking at the launch Mr Khan said the launch of the WiFi was the brainchild of Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama in his vision to transform Fiji into a digital hub
