THE Fiji National Provident Fund, Fiji Day Handicraft Exhibitions and Sale began today with four women showcasing their crafts.

The exhibition is being held at the FNPF Plaza in Suva and will end on Friday.

They have also partnered with the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation to pick out women who had taken part in this year’s National Women’s Expo.

Anaseini Laweibau who owns Matalia’s Creation is a jewellery maker – and has been on this venture since 2005 – was one of the women who were part of the exhibition today.

“Its something that I love to do, making jewellery. My advice to other women is it’s not too late, you can work on your talent and if you make the first step, God will do the rest,” Mrs Laweibau said.
