Fiji Law Society calls on Police to investigate allegations against PM

POLICE must investigate the events that took place outside Parliament House between Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and suspended Opposition Member Pio Tikoduadua on August.
This is the call by the Fiji Law Society.
FLS president Laurel Vaurasi said the Society was most concerned that the Fiji Police Force was yet to conclude its investigations in the allegation of assault levelled against PM Bainimarama by Mr Tikoduadua.
“No one is above the rule of law which means our leaders are all subject to the rule of law,” FLS said in a statement.
