THE FUSA games tournament coordinator Gabriel Qoro seeks sporting federations in the country to give an opportunity to the tertiary institutions’ participants in the FUSA games to showcase their talents for a chance to be drawn in the national squad.

Qoro said the involvement of various sports for the past weekend had seen a number of talented individuals impressing the games officials.

“We hope that next year, the sports federations in the country attend this competition just to witness some hidden talents that I guarantee could be future national reps,” he said.

“We have rugby, touch rugby, netball, basketball and volleyball being played in these past few days and we hope to include more next year,” said Qoro.

Meanwhile, he said the participation of those institutions included western and northern schools together with the schools in Suva.

Newcomers Corpus Christi women’s team won the women’s rugby competition.
