“FIX our roads.”

This was the only plea made by villagers of Satulaki in Cakaudrove on Vanua Levu after they completed the pre-poll exercise at their village today.

Village headman Atunaisa Tuinayau said they had had to cope with transportation and travelling issues over the years.

“For too long, this problem has been around and we hope the next government can make a difference and improve the road condition to our village,” Mr Tuinayau said.

“We have a lot of farmers in this area and big grog farms so it’s only fair for us to have good roads.”

Out of the 44 registered to vote in village, only 27 voted.
