Northerners urged to take advantage of free medical services

MEMBERS of the public in Labasa and surrounding areas can take advantage of the free medical services provided by the Sai Medicare Camp bgining on Monday, August 13.

The 26-member medical group’s spokesperson, Anurag Prasad, said they would be providing free treatment to individuals for medical, paediatric and surgical clinics, obstetrics and gynaecology concerning women’s health and cervical cancer screening.

“We will also be providing free dental services, psychology and mental health, dietetics, including glucose level and pressure tests,” said Mr Prasad.

“The group will begin operations on Monday and Tuesday at Nadogo Central College before moving to Seaqaqa Central College where they will operate on Wednesday (August 15) and Thursday (August 16) with clinics opening from 8.30am to 2pm on the four days.”
